Russian Missile Strikes

Russia fires lethal rockets from hundres of kilometers away into every city in Ukraine, including far away from the frontlines. Again and again they hit buildings where families with children live, schools or important civilian infrastructure buildings. While the air defense of Ukraine does an unbelievable job night and day to shoot down such rockets, it is impossible to get 100% of these rockets.

I have a hard time understanding why the supporters of Ukraine allow this to happen. It must be some type of fear, that Russia would then attack also other countries than Ukraine – saying that not Ukraine, but the suppliers of the weapons are responsible for any counter attack on Russian cities. Also it might be in fear that Russia would use a tactical nuclear weapon and this might then bring NATO into the fight, with article 5 being violated through this. It is very hard to see such injustice. I would prefer to see that the West gives Ukraine weapons to respond in kind on Russian cities – for each rocket, another rocket to a Russian city. Even when they say – an eye for an eye, leaves the whole world blind – I would also like to see a strategy to stop this madness.
