While the locals who did not flee from the city witnessed the destruction of their homes and received only a fraction of the worth of their former homes from Russia, the liberators of Donbas sell the rebuild homes to wealthy Russians from far away.
Denis Kazanskij reports on the outcries of disowned Mariupol residents. Their houses were destroyed. New houses were rebuilt and are being sold to strangers. They have lost their homes, without having been given any option to remain in the place they used to call home, sometimes for many decades.
