Let us be aware of people who act brave in the face of violent Russian state and its supporters.
Russian prosecutors opened a case against 21-year old Gleb Malkov, after he removed a makeshift memorial for the recently killed war criminals Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin in the city center of Sevastopol.
What happened?
Supporters of the Wagner private military company opened a makeshift memorial to the leaders of this group – Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin – recently executed by Putin.
The Wagner group is responsible for numerous murders and sadistic acts of utmost brutality against innocent civilians as well as Ukrainian soldiers serving their country in Ukraine.
Some deranged Russians laid out a Russian flag and two portrait photos of the two men at the foot of the monument to Kornilov. The momument is located on the square of the 300th anniversary of the Russian Fleet in the city center of Sewastopol on Russian-occupied Crimea. This memorial itself is a criminal act against all human and moral values. You might just as well establish memorials for any other war criminal in history. Russia of course has a tradition of this, putting dead Lenin and Stalin in the center of Moscow.
On August 25, 21-year-old Gleb Malkov in broad daylight kicked the items laid out at this makeshift memorial.
After shouts from people, who had noticed the action, Gleb Malkov fled from the place.
Participants of the “Crimean SMERSH” tracked down Gleb Malkov shortly thereafter. They questioned him and filmed what he answered. The degree of intoxication with propaganda in those Russian people can be seen from their questions, where they simply seem to be in disbelief when Gleb only states the truth that is there for the whole world to see. Russians live in a parallel world, so much they have taken in the toxic strategies of the Kremlin. You can learn more about the Crimean mouthpieces of the Kremlin here. You will understand how they live in a parallel world. A lot of money is invested into the spreading of factually false information – propaganda, in short.
Gleb said that he did this because of Russia attacks Ukraine. He stated that Crimea is occupied by Russia and that the referendum on Crimea was illegal. He says: “I am in Ukraine.”
On September 7, Russian state terrorist authorities opened a criminal case against the courageous young man Malkov. The charges are brought under the article of desecration of the National (terrorist) Flag. He faces up to a year in prison, if nothing changes.
Hopefully Crimea will be free soon.
